Walter Louis Hungridge, 91, of Hammonton, passed away at his residence. Previous to moving to Hammonton, Verna and Walt lived in Leisuretown in Southampton for 38 years. He was a World War II veteran who served in the U.S. Navy from October 12, 1942 until October 27, 1945. He worked and retired from the Campbell Soup Co. and was also a member of Brigantine Elks Lodge #2428. He bowled for a Senior League at Medford Lanes for many years until this May. Predeceased a son of the late Mary and William Hungridge and a brother of Dorothy, Dolores, Russ, Charlie, Bob, Herb and Eugene. Along with his wife, of 63 years, Verna, Walt was survived by his children Ronald L. Hungridge, and daughter Barbara Stetson, his grandchildren, Ronald Jr., Chris Stetson, Jennifer Stetson, and Kimberly Piner and great-grand daughters Carleigh and Olivia. Walter also leaves behind his brother William and his sister Gloria. Service at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. 3rd St. Hammont
